North Holdings Group has appointed Priya Raghunathan as Group Chief Financial Officer with effect from 1 October 2026. She succeeds Marcus Whitfield, who has held the role on an interim basis since March and will remain with the group as Financial Controller.
Priya joins from a European freight operator, where she was finance director for six years and led the refinancing of the group’s fleet facilities. She previously held finance roles in manufacturing and began her career in audit, and is a chartered accountant.
“Priya has spent her career in businesses that look a lot like ours: capital intensive, operationally detailed, and allergic to surprises,” said Eleanor Ashcombe, Group Chief Executive. “She knows how to run a balance sheet through a cycle, which is what a group like this needs from its finance function.”
Priya will sit on the group executive committee and attend board meetings in a non-voting capacity. She takes responsibility for group finance, treasury, tax and reporting across the three divisions.
