Group publishes 2025 sustainability report

North Holdings Group has published its sustainability report for the year to 31 March 2026. Scope 1 and 2 emissions across the portfolio fell 18 per cent against the 2023 baseline, and 41 per cent of purchased electricity now comes from certified renewable tariffs.

Safety performance improved for the third consecutive year, with a lost-time injury frequency rate of 0.31 per million hours worked, down from 0.44. The group also recruited 62 apprentices during the year, its highest number to date, and women now make up 27 per cent of the workforce, up from 23 per cent in 2023.

The report sets two new targets: a 50 per cent reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, and the replacement of 60 per cent of the light commercial fleet with electric vehicles by 2029. Both targets are tied to capital allocation decisions rather than reported separately from them, and progress will be reviewed by the audit committee each year.

The emissions data has been subject to limited assurance by an external auditor. The full report, including the methodology note and the basis of preparation, is available to download from the group’s website or on request from the company secretary.
